🎢 Theme Park Maths! 🎢

Our Year 6 pupils have been putting their maths skills to the test with their exciting Theme Park Maths project! Using a bank loan to fund their ideas, the children designed and managed their own theme parks, making important financial decisions along the way. They had to budget carefully, paying staff wages, maintenance costs and even taxes, before calculating their annual profit. Once they had successfully completed every challenge, they brought their creations to life by building their very own theme parks.

George B took a particularly entrepreneurial approach, explaining that he included lots of cafés in his theme park because he knew they would generate extra income—and his strategy paid off as he finished the project with the highest profit!

A fantastic way to apply mathematical skills to a real-life context while encouraging creativity, problem-solving and financial understanding. Well done, Year 6!
