🌿✏️ Writing comes to life in Neverland! ✏️🌿

Our Neverland children have been developing their recount writing in English by drawing on their own real-life experiences, and what an adventure they’ve had!

So far, they’ve enjoyed a woodland adventure where they built cosy dens for minibeasts, explored nature on a colourful woodland hunt, and searched high and low for fascinating minibeasts. 🐞🍃

They also showed kindness to our feathered friends by making delicious bird treats using seeds and suet before ending their adventures with a wonderful woodland picnic! The menu included caterpillar grapes, wiggly strawberry worms, a prickly hedgehog, and tasty chocolate logs. 🐛🦔🍓

These hands-on experiences have inspired some fantastic descriptive writing, helping the children bring their recounts to life with rich vocabulary and exciting detail. We can’t wait to read the finished pieces!
