🏰Castle Adventure Day🏰
Recently, Neverland and Enchanted Forest visited Belvoir Castle for a day filled with fun, creativity, and learning. Upon arrival, the children were guided to the kitchen area, where they engaged in a variety of independent activities designed to spark their imaginations:
- Building castles from Lego.
- Wearing uniforms for the different roles in the castle grounds.
- Completing word searches for castle related words.
- Drawing their dream castles.
- Visiting the ‘Pastry room’ to see where the delicious desserts were made.
On the tour, the children were able to see the main entrance into the castle and admired the canons and guns in the corridor. They saw many paintings of the previous residents of the castle as well as seeing a model of what the castle used to look like before Lady Elizabeth Howard rebuilt it. They got to dance around the ballroom and visit some of the guest bedrooms.
In the adventure playground, the children particularly enjoyed playing on the zip line and running around the pirate ship!
