We’ve Been to the Zoo!

We’ve Been to the Zoo!

Neverland and Enchanted Forest had a great time on their visit to Lincoln Zoo. The children were able to see some of the animals they had been learning about and were able to identify animals which were herbivores, carnivores and omnivores.  They even got to a front row seat to the animal show, where they got to see some animals from around the world and learn about them! Some of the cheeky birds even flew over the top of their heads! During their visit, the children got to see wolves, sloth bears, crocodiles, parrots, meerkats, capybaras, spider monkeys, snakes and so much more! Leo C was surprised! “Look at this Lemur,” he exclaimed to Miss Cook, “it has a long tail, it’s trying to climb up me!”

Maci was amazed, ‘The snake doesn’t actually feel slimy!’

Ted spotted that ‘the spider monkeys have long tails to help them swing from the trees!’
