🌟 Narnia’s Ancient Egypt Big Bang Day! 🌟

Today we launched our brand‑new enquiry question: What have we learnt from the Ancient Egyptians? 🏺✨ To celebrate the start of this topic, the classroom was transformed into the inside of a pyramid tomb. The children crawled through the “tomb tunnels” to reach the Pharaoh and his treasure 🪙👑, which set the scene beautifully for our learning.

We then learnt a fun routine inspired by Walk Like an Egyptian 💃🕺 and the children threw themselves into the dance with brilliant enthusiasm. Later, they designed their own clay hieroglyphic emblems 🎨🧱, which they will paint later this term as part of our art work.

In English, the children watched a short video all about pyramids 📺🔺 and created eye‑catching posters to show what they had learnt. A fantastic start to our new topic — the excitement in the room was wonderful to see.
