🎉 National Poetry Day at Caythorpe Primary!

This week, our pupils celebrated National Poetry Day, exploring this year’s exciting theme — “Play!” 🪀🎨

Throughout the day, children across the school read and explored poems, discovering how poetry can be a powerful way to express feelings, share ideas, and tell stories. ✍️💭

🌟 Highlights from the day:
✨ In Hogwarts, pupils shared poems inspired by their favourite games and toys — and everyone had fun trying to guess which ones!
✨ Narnia pupils hunted for lines that reflected the “play” theme and created beautiful collages to frame their poems. Their work was proudly displayed in a gallery for parents to enjoy. 🖼️
✨ Children in Neverland and Enchanted Forest brought their poems to life by performing them with expressive actions. 🎭👏

The day ended with a special assembly where everyone came together to share and celebrate their fantastic creations. 🌟📜
