🏰 Hogwarts Visits the Newark Civil War Museum ⚔️

Our Hogwarts students recently enjoyed an unforgettable trip to the Newark Civil War Museum!

They took part in a fascinating tour walk, bringing the history of the English Civil War to life through captivating stories and local landmarks. The museum staff ran interactive sessions on arms and armour, where pupils explored both replicas and original artefacts—discovering how they were used and what they reveal about life during the conflict.

The children loved getting hands-on with history: Summer was especially taken by a beautifully decorated sword, while Joshua was amazed by the cannonball recovered from Newark’s church spire!

Mr. Grimwood summed up the day perfectly, saying it was “one of the best experiences he’s been on.”
