🐝 Buzzing with Excitement in the Enchanted Forest! 🌳✨

Our Reception pupils had a sweet visit from Melissa, our wonderful local beekeeper! 🧑‍🌾🐝 She came to Enchanted Forest to teach the children all about how she cares for her bees and collects honey.

The children got to explore a model hive, learn about the special equipment Melissa uses to keep both herself and the bees safe, and ask lots of buzzing questions! 🐝🍯

💬 “They put wax on top of the baby bee in the cell” – Joe
💬 “They collect pollen and take it back to their hive” – Lily

To finish the visit on a sweet note, each child received a mini pot of honey and a little felt bee to take home. Thank you, Melissa, for such a magical and memorable experience! 🌼💛🐝
