🌟 Narnia’s Science Big Bang! 🌍

Narnia Class had an exciting time answering our enquiry question: “How are rocks formed?” through four hands-on experiments.

🔍What does it look like?
The children explored lots of different types of rocks, observing their colours, textures, and patterns.

💪Hard or soft?
We tested rock hardness by scraping them along sandpaper. If bits of the rock were left behind, we discovered it was soft!

💧Permeable or impermeable?
Using pipettes, the children dropped water onto rocks. If the rock absorbed the water, it was sedimentary and permeable.

⚖️Dense or buoyant?
Finally, we dropped rocks into water to see if they would float or sink, learning about their density.

The children were brilliant scientists—asking questions, making predictions, and recording their findings! 🧪
