Religious Education

Caythorpe Primary School promotes respect and tolerance. Children are introduced to six religious traditions (Christianity, Hinduism, Buddihsm, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism) in the course of their time at the school, and great care is taken to ensure that all beliefs are valued.

We follow the Lincolnshire Locally Agreed Syllabus 2018 to inform our RE curriculum. You can find the new Lincolnshire locally agreed syllabus HERE.

At Caythorpe we pride ourselves on providing our pupils with meaningful learning experiences. Visits to places of worship and visitors from a variety of faiths enrich our curriculum and enable children to understand, respect and have tolerance to different faiths and the people who follow them.
Contact Helen Hunt (Headteacher) if you require any further curriculum information.
